I did this all in a matter of hours, go me!


#01 - Air - He needs her like air; she is heart, his soul, his life.

#02 - Apples - He peels the apple swiftly and she notes that the tremors in his hands that had plagued him so much in the beginning had almost got completely.

#03 - Beginning - In the beginning one look was all it took - one look and he knew he’d never be the same again.

#04 - Bugs - “It’s just a spider, Caz!” Becca pulled a face at him, and couldn’t help but laugh as she went to collect it from where it was sitting in the bathroom.

#05 - Coffee - Becca reaches up for the coffee he hands her, his eyes just as bleary as her own and instead of sipping the coffee, she puts it on the side and pulls him down instead - there were better ways to greet the morning.

#06 - Dark - In the dark the memories come, strong and unbidden but she does her best to comfort him, holding him close and making him concentrate on their future and the child that was growing in her womb.

#07 - Despair - “I can’t!” he begs her, the baggy in his hand, the tears falling down his cheeks fast and free, and she doesn’t say anything, she simply pulls him close and holds him there until they’ve both stopped shaking.

#08 - Doors - Doors, he decided were one of life’s great things, as she backs him hard against the front one and takes his breath away with teeth, lips and tongue.

#09 - Drink - He takes the bottle before she can, laughing as she hits his shoulder and pouts at him; “Oh, here,” he caves almost immediately and hands it to her - he never could say no, no matter what it was.

#10 - Duty - “I will,” he vows, and it doesn’t pass him by that he now has a duty to her, on paper as well as in his heart; forever and a day.

#11 - Earth - Every time she touches him, he swears he can feel the earth shift just a little on its axis.

#12 - End - When they wrap themselves around each other like this, it is impossible to tell where one ended and the other began; just how they liked it.

#13 - Fall - He wasn’t sure when it was he fell for her, but he knew from the beginning that he would anything at all for her.

#14 - Fire - Her touch is like fire as she wraps a hand around him, everything forgotten but the way she feels and the sound of her name on his lips.

#15 - Flexible - “You never told me you were that flexible,“ she laughs against his lips, “I don’t tell you a lot of the interesting things, my love, it’s a lot more fun finding out.”

#16 - Flying - Performing was always such a rush for him, but seeing her in the front row, her eyes alight with pride, he felt like he was flying.

#17 - Food - There was no food in the world that tasted better than her skin, especially the spot just under her hipbone.

#18 - Foot - “Oh dear, sweet Merlin, Caz, more,” she moaned and he chuckled, continuing to work his fingers across her foot, before switching to the other.

#19 - Grave - She holds his hand tightly as they approach the grave, and although he hated his mother with every fibre of his being, he still sheds the tears he couldn’t quite keep back as he bends down and lays the lilies.

#20 - Green - “How do I look?” she asked, twirling around in a backless, short green dress; it was a while before he could get his brain in gear enough to answer her.

#21 - Head - When the cravings are at their height she crawls onto his lap and with slow practiced movements he moves his fingers across her temples, trying to ease the tension there, hoping to calm her.

#22 - Hollow - He loves the whimper she gives as his tongue reaches the hollow of her throat, and he decides then that if he could hear nothing but that sound the rest of his life, he’d die a happy man.

#23 - Honor - He knows she’ll never believe him, but it’s more than an honor to call her his wife.

#24 - Hope - Right from the beginning of their relationship, she had offered him something so few others had; she offered him hope.

#25 - Light - She opened the curtains and he moaned as light filtered over his face, his arms coming up to cover his face; “Come on, my little vampire, we need to get up.”

#26 - Lost - He was wandering, lost until the night she walked so brazenly into his life, and for the first time in his life, he was found and he’s not looked back since.

#27 - Metal - The metal was icy cool on his wrists, and he hissed as he tried to move his hips upwards, seeking friction, but she stopped him with one finger on his chest; “Patience, Casper.”

#28 - New - “What do you think?” he grinned, stepping back from the red van that looked almost as good as new, “Well it’s a fucking improvement,” she smirked, tracing her finger across the newly painted band logo on the side.

#29 - Old - He has racks and racks of new clothes now for her to ‘borrow’ but she feels the safest in his old, khaki green sweater, it buries her but it smells like him and when he’s playing a gig and she can’t follow because of the child, it’s the only thing that can calm her until she’s back in his arms again.

#30 - Peace - “It’s okay, it’s okay, just breathe,” he murmurs, stroking her back and shoulders, and he continues to do so until she’s found her peace and only then does he allow himself to relax.

#31 - Poison - Sometimes he sits and thinks about just how much he has poisoned his body over the years, how much he’d done to forget, how far he’d run, and with one look, with one touch she’d offered him something that was so much stronger than drugs, but it was something he was just as addicted to.

#32 - Pretty - She watched him sleep more often than not, the gentle rise and fall of his chest and in those moments he’s beyond pretty; he’s beautiful.

#33 - Rain - He barely noticed the rain as she ran towards, splashing in puddles and tracing wet lines down his clothes as he picked her up and spun her around - it was only a night but even that was too long apart.

#34 - Regret - There were so many things he regretted in his life, but one thing he could never regret was going to the bar that night, he wasn’t even supposed to be playing but it had been a last minute booking and he’d forever been grateful to whomever had done it.

#35 - Roses - “Oh Caz, you shouldn’t have,” she murmured to herself as the flower person bought another massive bunch of New York’s best roses - she’d gotten them every day for the past week after she told him that she was pregnant.

#36 - Secret - “Awww, come on, I want to know!” he protested, pouting as she shook her head and grinned; “Caz your birthday is tomorrow, you can wait!”

#37 - Snakes - She watched his tongue move across the ice cream like a snakes and she swallowed hard - if he kept that up she would not be responsible for her actions and especially not in front of the children - this was going to be a very long day.

#38 - Snow - Caz laughed as Timmy leveled a snowball at his mother, only to make a loud ‘oof’ sound as a snowball was thrown at his head, hitting him square in the face and running down his beard.

#39 - Solid - He clung to her desperately, shaking, the burning in his veins so strong he could taste it and in a world that was constantly and violently moving around him, she was his solid ground.

#40 - Spring - Finishing the last one, he carefully tied it around her wrist with a grin, the daisies sitting perfectly on her wrist - he would never admit it out loud but he loved spring, but mostly he just loved to see the smile on her face.

#41 - Stable - They were many things to each other - lovers, friends, heart and soul but most of all they were stability.

#42 - Strange - The strange look on her face as she looked down made his breath catch and he frowned, but then her face broke into a wide grin and she looked up, tears in her eyes; “It’s positive…we’re pregnant!”

#43 - Summer - “Tag, you’re it,” he shouted, tagging her and then running away, the sand kicking up around them, the hot summer sun on their backs, if he didn’t know better he’d swear that he was in heaven right now.

#44 - Taboo - He took a deep breath and began to talk, it had been a taboo subject for as long as they could remember but now they most definitely had to talk about it; “So, do you think I should cut my hair?”

#45 - Ugly - “But it’s ugly!” she protested, looking at the lamp Caz was determined to put in the front room; “So am I but it’s never stopped you fucking me,” Becca turned to look at him, her face a picture.

#46 - War - He gritted his teeth as he threw the baggie of cocaine across the room, disgust filling him, as well as guilt, he couldn’t do that, not to Becca, or to himself - he may have lost the battle with buying it but he would be damned if he would lose the war.

#47 - Water - He didn’t know what hit him as the wave came up and hit him, soaking from head to toe, Becca’s laughing ringing in his ears as he started to run after her, grabbing a bucketful on the way - she would pay.

#48 - Welcome - “Thank you,” Becca said as the waiter put the bill down onto the table and she took her card out to pay it; “You’re welcome, Mrs Penn,” and she couldn’t stop the grin as she met Caz’s eyes; she really could get used to this.

#49 - Winter - There was nothing he liked more than curling up with her in front of the roaring fire - snow, cold and winter be damned, he was content to be where he was.

#50 - Wood - He ran his fingers softly over the wood of the cot, his breath catching as he looked inside, his eyes looking over the sleeping form of their child, his lips curving into a grin; “Come on Daddy, to be,” Becca’s voice comes from behind him and with one last look he does as is bid.
