This "Thanksgiving" is arriving soon, isn't it? I've never celebrated a day like that, but the more I hear about it, the more pleasant it sounds. Though I always try to give my thanks whenever possible. I...suppose if "thanks" were an object I could hold in my hand, my hands would be tired from too much giving. But Mother always says that is the proper thing to do, and my older sister too. And I suppose two people can't be wrong if they both agree?
Perhaps we can eat a "Guaca Mole", Mr. Boy Beast? Or perhaps just a mole? I wonder how that would taste.
But the Duchess of this mansion says to moderate the senses, did she not? Perhaps I do abuse my eyesight, though I find everything is quite interesting to look at, honestly. And my eyes don't hurt at all from the light.
Still, let's not be selfish here, Alice.
I ought to conserve by closing my eyes more throughout the day. I should start now.
