I hope that I'm not one of the people that you are talking about Jared. If you look at my friends list, it's not large by any means. I like to meet people and try to expand the base of people I know. Living in a rural area, that is difficult at times. I enjoy sharing my life events with others, although I know at times, I tend to write too much. But, I've kept journals since high school, and find them a great "release". Many times the comments do help me to find an answer that I have been needing.

I think in your case, that many people are intrigued by the photos that you show. But to me they are the shallow, "unreal" people. All that they care about is a guys looks and/or the size of his penis. If they would take the time to read, and understand, they would realize that there is more to you than in the photos. I think the best thing in the world is getting to know someone, their likes and dislikes, their favorite things, their pet peeves, basically, getting to know the real person. The person that is inside, not necessarily the person that is on display to the world.

Ok, I'll shut up now. Happy New Year!

Don't worry.....you most definitely aren't one of those people ;)
And I wholeheartedly agree with most of what you said.

Moreover, the interactions I am referring to in this article usually occur over IM....not through journal comments.
