Tangos and Crews
Last night I went to my first ever gay club and drag show.
It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got pulled on stage as the "virgin" (someone who's never been there before) (THANKS JESS!), and the drag queen said that "I'm very beautiful" and that it pisses her off. I have always considered gay men the highest critics of female beauty, but coming from a DRAG Queen, and an award winning one at that, I was blown away.
As I am on stage, all the gay people in the crowd were shamelessly commenting on my various body parts..."Nice Tits", "Great ass"... They are such a welcoming crowd, lol.
We danced to great music with nothing but lesbian couples on the dance floor. Apparently the minute I walked in, everyone could tell I was straight. Someone commented that it was the pointy stilleto boots I was wearing. Way too femme for a dyke.
All in all, it was GREAT FUN...those people are happy, friendly, and welcoming. And I'm definetly looking forward to going back.
On other news, I finally met Jordan last night, on his birthday, and it was fun. We laugh a lot together, which is great. He's goofy :)
Sia actually called me to see what I was doing last night (I inivited him to go where I was originally planning to go) but when I told him my plans have changed and Im going into the Gay Village, he couldnt follow. It was mainly because of his friends. I spoke to one of them on the phone and I did not like him....Oh well.
Thats all, it was a great night after all.
