Help!
So, I found out last night that the guys my boyfriend works with want to have a dinner together on Christmas Eve. I'm invited, and they want everyone bring a dish. I told him I would make cupcakes since I love any excuse to bake, and he said no one else was doing a dessert.
I was going through my recipes after, and I couldn't find anything I haven't done several times!!
Anyone have a suggestion for a good "holiday" cupcake/frosting recipe? I want to do something to fit the season, but the recipes I have are pretty standard: chocolates, red velvet, etc. I don't have anything to bake with at his apartment currently, so ingredients aren't an issue - I can get whatever I need. I also don't want to have to rely on decorations to make them holiday-themed because my skills there are weak at best.
I do need to note that my boyfriend is diabetic, though! Most recipes I can make diabetic-friendly easily enough, but it rules out anything with candies in it.
