First Post & Cupcakes to share!

♥ Your cupcake history: I've always enjoyed baking. Cookies, cakes, cupcakes, what have you...but only when needed. This past May, my mother and I started up a bakery, which kicked my baking into overdrive! I took some cake decorating classes, bought a bunch of cookbooks and have gone to town. Every week I try and new cupcake! :D
♥ Why you like cupcakes: Cupcakes can be fun and simple, or elegant and beautiful. They're small enough to give you that bit of cake you want without feeling (too) guilty afterwards. You can change them into anything that you want!
♥ Anything to share?: I've lurked for a while and finally got up the nerve to join in. This week I made Fresh Strawberry cupcakes (from Martha Stewart's Cupcake book, this is my cupcake bible!) with a Strawberry Whipped Buttercream frosting. These little cakes are to die for, so light and airy, but sinfully sweet and fresh!
