Birthday Cupcakes.
I have only made cupcakes from scratch a few times so far this year. Reason being I have decided to only make them for occasions from now on.
I made these on Friday for my cousin. We share the same birthday, meaning she is obviously my favourite relative! We met up yesterday to swap gifts and such. I decided to make some girly cupcakes for her this year as she always gives me handmade birthday cards.

First attempt at fondant lettering, I think it came out okay.

I made these for the girls at work last week. It was a spur of the moment thing. Plus I wanted to practice making larger cupcakes before making the ones above for Esmé.
They were gone within seconds.

This last pic was taken sometime last month. A friend and I had a cupcake, cocktail and wii day. I was hungover from the night before which explains the sunglasses ha. They were just basic cupcakes from a box, you know the just add an egg and throw them in the oven...
I shall be making cupcakes for Easter and the best friends birthday in April :D
