My Saturday after work plans: cupcakes! A friend requested funfetti cake with cream cheese frosting, which I have to admit I don't really think sounds very good...so I was thinking of doing a from scratch funfetti cupcake but maybe with raspberry filling and then cream cheese frosting, because as much as I love cream cheese frosting I think it

Ew, agreed. That sounds like a very heavy frosting on a very light cake :S It may work if you do a whipped cream cheese frosting? Although quite frankly, I like your idea about raspberry filling. It may also work if you make the cake a little heavier, like a white chocolate cake, with Funfetti? Either way, sounds like the results will be delicious!

oh i didn't even think about a white chocolate cake! that sounds like it'd be really good! as is doing a whipped cream cheese frosting instead of a regular. thanks!!

that is so cute! i ended up not making anything :( we had a surprise visit from family who live out of state so it was worth it but still...haha. only people who truly love to bake understnad, right? :)
