I'm so glad that this community got spot-lighted! I joined it last night, and it made me want to make cupcakes straight away! Unfortunately it was 1 am. So today a mate and I made one of the new recipes I found online. It was rather exciting, I'd never heard of funfetti before *g*. I'm a brit, but I've lived in both the US and UK, and I have to say that the Americans make *gorgeous* cupcakes.
It was our first attempt at making funfetti cupcakes with buttercream icing, unfortunately the hundreds and thousands we used for the funfetti melted/were a no show, so next time we're trying sugar strands!
