Intro post & easter cupcakes

First-time poster. I was introduced to this community by the lovely torricus back in November, and I've been lurking ever since.

♥ Your cupcake history: I've been watching my mom decorate wedding and birthday cakes since I was a little girl, and when I was a teenager, I started helping her deliver and set up the cakes at local halls. It comes as no surprise that I've recently taken an interest in cake decorating!
♥ Why you like cupcakes: Adorable miniature cakes... what's not to love?
♥ Cupcake photos, recipes, or other interesting cupcake-related tidbits that you found: When I get bored, I make cupcakes. They never last long enough for me to take any photographs, but I managed to snap a few today before they were happily gobbled up. :)



Vanilla cupcakes with lemon frosting; topped with sprinkles and a chocolate mini-egg.









I tried my hand at making roses... Not bad for a first try!
