hawaii cupcakes

my friend celebrated her 4 year anniversary by making her boyfriend what she called "hawaii cupcakes" (they have really great memories in hawaii as a couple) which were based on a recipe from this book




pineapple and coconut cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, topped with chopped macadamia nuts








the remaining batter after those cupcakes i put in JUMBO cupcake papers (about twice the size of a regular one) They were my payment for helping her bake :)
