I tried making strawberry upside down cake. After arranging the strawberrie on the bottom of the cupcake pans for what felt like an eternity, I poured the batter over and noticed that the strawberries started floating!!! I dumped them into the oven. Lo and behold...
Strawberry teacakes!
They didn't rise much (maybe it was the caramelised strawberries that made it soggy abit) but oh were super yummy and very moist.
How do I keep the fruits at the bottom of upside down cakes?
PS. No pics cos they were visually not a success.
