Pancake mix?

I don't know if this counts as as cupcake, or just a cupcake shaped recipe, but has anyone ever tried using pancake mix like Bisquick to make cupcakes? I just realized I had some around here and some chocolate chips so I was thinking about making chocolate chip cupcakes. Since I don't really want traditional pancakes because I never seem to finish them.

So Bisquick in cupcake form? Yay? Nay?
