Crouching Bronco, Hidden Panther

*bounce bounce* Today is it!! It's the BIG day! The last day of the playoffs! Everyone I've read and ESPN seem to be favoring the Broncos over Pittsburgh, which is fine by me. My Dad is totally pleased with that prediction since he's been grumbling about Pittsburgh since they made the playoffs. ;)

Now.. the Carolina and Seahawks game is gonna be a tough one. ESPN favors Carolina.. but the newspaper favors Seattle to win by a tiny two-point margin. It's gonna be close (I think).. and hopefully Carolina will win. The Seahawks better watch out - if the Panthers are smart they will keep pounding Shaun Alexander. He's back after that concussion and won't be so tough.

Some people are concerned about the Panthers playing at the Qwest field which apparently is really noisy. It bugged me till I read this quote from the Panthers' head coach: "There is something our team likes about coming out of the tunnel and getting booed," said Carolina coach John Fox, whose only loss in six playoff games was the defeat to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. "Some people like getting cheered. Our team has kind of a sick little grin on its face getting booed. I think they rally around that."

What bothers me more is that Seattle has been undefeated at home for the second time in three seasons. Hopefully, though, Fox is right and the Panthers will rise to the challenge and kick some serious ass.

Go Panthers! :D
