4th of July Weekend
The 4th of July was such a great weekend. I was thinking that I would get so much done since Ethan was going to be gone setting up fireworks. I was so wrong. Friday after work I gathered craft supplies and then hung out with the hubby. Saturday I got up early and picked strawberries with mom. I then worked on all the ATCs for awhile. I attempted to get Ethan a padded bucket, but the store apparently has a different understanding of padded. Apparently they think a hard plastic is padded. Yeah, no. I then went and dropped of said bucket and popsicles to the hot (temperature, not sex appeal) guys setting up fireworks. It was greatly appreciated. There was only an hour of so left, but I helped them for the duration of the time. We poured sand into the constructed boxes with the covered tubes. Sunday I got the rest of the ATC's done and then dropped them off at the post office. I went over to Mom's house and we went down to visit Ethan. Mom and I stayed and helped wire fireworks and then went to Rocky Racoco's for dinner. We had so much fun helping we decided to come back and help more on Monday. We wired fireworks and helped from 9 to 1pm. I was so hot and tired by the end of it.
Uggg, I feel so icky right now and I'm having such a hard time concentrating, even on this. I will have to write more about the 4th later.
