43 years since the last jazz artist won that award. It was good to see Kanye West get slapped in the face twice that night. First by Vince Gill when Ringo Starr handed him his Grammy and said " wow, i just had a Beatle hand me an award, I bet you haven't had that happen to you yet Kanye."
and second when he lost record of the year to Herbie Hancock, fucking brilliant.
