I think the problem lies in the common definition of the word slut, which is actually all but common. Slut seems to take on whatever definition the user wants it to. It's a matter of perspective. There is no written document out there putting limitations on sluttiness or drawing some line to say when you have become a slut.
If you feel you are a slut, then I feel it is because you are placing those restraints around yourself. But why? Who is it that you're trying to live for? Whose standards are you making your own?
To me, a fellow "slut".. I feel that I am not a slut at all, really. I'll tell ya why. To me, a slut takes on a specific meaning. A slut is someone who casually flings their sex around without care of who it is affecting, themselves included. Low self-esteem.. allows themself to be used carelessly.. and most notably, uses sex to get what they want, no matter the object of their desire.
Me.. and quite possibly you (but I don't know you well enough to say, honestly) are not sluts. You do not strike me as someone with no morals or standards of a sexual nature. You're an explorer. You are comfortable with yourself and feel no need to let the crappy, scare tactics and rumors of a pent-up, conservative society tell you that you have to WAIT until you're married or in love to have sex. You don't let it tell you that you are to submit to some man's wishes, or be Suzy Homemaker. You don't let it tell you that sex is merely for reproduction.
Why then, do you let its petty name-calling take such a toll on you?
Life is short. You're living. Don't let anyone take that away from you. I'm not. And I'm probably every bit as "slutty" as you.. even though that dumb test gave me a lower score.
And when I said gorgeous, I wasn't just talking about looks. I haven't seen many pics of you at all, to be honest. I was talking about what I have seen and read, as a whole. You seem like someone I'd admire in alot of ways if I knew you in real life.
