He is dead...
That sucks. Daniel's ferret Bandit died today. About 2 wks ago he got sick. Turned out he had something stuck in his little stomach, so he had an operation.
During the last two weeks he didn't move much and he couldn't walk. We had to hand feed him food and water about every 2 hours. I thought it was strange that he couldn't move much and had trouble eating. Both I and Daniel called the vet numerous times, but they made it sound like everything was ok.
Not knowing much about ferrets, I guess I believed the vet just a little too much.
So, not only did he die (after an expensive operation), but I believe he was in pain in the past two weeks because of the operation. That double sucks.
Sad to see him go. He was our first, and he had a great personality. Poor little guy...may he rest in peace. (and the dogs better not dig him up in the backyard!)
