Oof! A lot has changed since my last public update.. so, let's see..
Chris is keeping the house, the landlord is gonna let him stay there rent free apparently.. so he's fine where he is. Landlord basically looks at Chris like a son, so.. there ya go.
I'm moving in with Oscy and Gary, and am currently crashed at their current apartment until we can move into the new one after the 15th. All my stuff is boxed up and waiting at Chris' til I can move this weekend. I have my computer, clothes, and basic essentials in the mean time.
I don't know what's going on with the cats... I hate to separate the 2, but.. Natalie would probably take to apartment life better, and she's my #1 girl.. Ender, I'd worry about to no end. I just also need to scrounge up the $400 deposit.. $800 if I want both... but I'll prolly leave Ender with Chris.. much as I love both my babies.. it's not easy. What I don't understand is how apartments can charge for people to keep their fuzzy family members, but children get in with no problems.. when most children are far more destructive than cats! ugh.
Other than that.. my car is acting up.. something weird with the clutch, it was acting like it had no power.. so Chris and Tommy (aforementioned landlord) worked on it last night and got most of the scary problems worked out.. it really is frightening to be on roads of solid ice and your car dies on you every time you slow down.. so, it's acting a little better, but still also acting gutless. So I'm bringing it back over today to have the sparks checked.
Aaand later.. heading up the hill to get some stuff sorted out for the flyer for whatever we're doing this year for AFF.. something about the lilac parade and a one day event this year, to try to be better off for a full (and awesome) con next year. Hopefully my car will make it UP the hill.. that'd be a fantastic start.
