what a chilling, disturbing concept... and you've executed it brilliantly... even your minor characters have a depth that i can picture them due to your descriptions... very good descriptions also of everybody's reactions to what's happening... i loved this and it would actually make an excellent starting point for a longer fic ;) *hint hint*
