I made it for a party at mycrazyhair's years ago (2005?). It's not that well-made, and it's non-standard; I have the mask cover the lower half of my face since I didn't want to shave my beard. The mask is two parts; a spandex hood wide big eye holes, and a papier mache half mask with slightly curved ear/horn things. Some of the other parts of the costume have fallen into disrepair since then - the leather bracers need new cord, and I'm too fat to squeeze into the tight shirt and pants I wore back then.

All that said, some year soon I should make another bat-costume - I'm much better at sewing these days, and I could probably do a better job with the mask...

I really, really want to take Aidan there. When lgbtech and I took him to the ROM back in December, we were very disappointed to find that the Bat Cave was closed for renovations ( ... )
