(no subject)
So....... tickets for THE CURE show, in houston, go on sale this saturday ... I'M FREAKING OUT.
i'm having Frantic flashbacks to 2000, being in high school, and seeing the boys for the first time----
maybe its the new album?.. I wont be able to sleep friday night with tickets to heaven being sold saturday morning
i love and hate this all at once.
I will be the proud owner of sweaty palms and lumps galore, inside my throat, until i hold the ticket to the perfect seat ..... and once I have that calm of knowing for sure i'm front row or better... i'll be all a mess again, when Robert, Simon, Roger, Perry, and Jason stumble across the stage in mid August.

The summer issue of BUST has a small article about a drag king troupe in Tucson ---
"one drag king lip-synced and danced her way through "Love Cats" by The Cure, doing the best Robert Smith imitation i have ever seen....."
can i just say this must only be because the author of this article has never met me
