Gloves
It seems he's always wearing them, Steve wonders from time to time if there's anything wrong with his hands. Maybe he was in a fire or something. He finds himself conjuring vivid images of what hides underneath those gloves more than he'd like to.
When Jack finally takes them off he's surprised. There's nothing wrong with his hands, but all of his charred expectations makes the real hands look like they're glowing white.
He shakes his head to clear his thoughts, maybe he's going a bit crazy after all.
