Two weeks had passed since Leonard had become like... this. He was still trying to get used to the stares, the whispers. She was still trying to get used to it. She'd even snapped out to a few of them to call her Leona and get the hell on with it. If she was stuck like this, she wasn't going to let it change things too much for her on the ship.
The medical bay was still hers. She just had a few of her uniform trousers made smaller, uniform tops much the same to fit her newer form. Like hell she was wearing those skirt uniforms.
Jim was predictably Jim. Flirting, asking every little question about how it felt to have a woman's body. But at the same time, Jim was so supportive. Promising to get this sorted somehow, some way. Listening as she spoke of her fears over her relationship with Gabriel, how Joanna would take this, fears for her own health considering the total gender switch she had undergone. For all intents and purposes, reading every single reading possible in the medical bay, she was totally healthy.
She had been curled up in a chair in her room with a medical book, with tattered old pages threatening to escape, with Gabriel just feet away. She knew that Gabriel had taken shifts to avoid being around her all too much. Knew because she had done much the same. She wanted to be held, to be loved, to feel Gabriel near. But she just knew how hard this was for him. After all, Gabriel wasn't into women and now she was one... well, that spelt trouble for their relationship.
"I'm go'na go bed," she spoke up quietly. Placing a bookmark into the book to keep place, she rose up from her seat, resting the book down where she had been just seconds before. Stretching, she yawned. They hadn't gone to bed together since the change, and she didn't know how to ask him to just be there, to just hold her. So she wouldn't push. "Good night, Gabriel," stepping towards him, Leona leant in to kiss his cheek - never the lips, never wanting him to feel uncomfortable any more than he needed to - and exited to the bedroom.
