BestBuy finally called back and said that if I wanted my files back
it would cost 1,600$ !!!!
That can't be right! Just to defrag a hard drive and save some files!

Please, somebody tell me there is somewhere else I can go
to get this done at a reasonable price!

Otherwise I can kiss everything, including my business goodbye!

My father lives in Braintree/Wollaston and there's a very good chance he can get the files off there and I KNOW he won't charge that much. He just fixed Duckie's laptop for about $150 (it needed a new harddrive and such).
