i know them somewhat. one thing i hate is when a guy acts really interested in ya then after they finally get in your pants they never call you and pretend that everything is normal when you run into them in public. this is the number 1 reason why i dont hook up that much.

You know.. I have only hooked up like twice in the last 5 years or so (oddly enough they were within the last month or so). I don't believe in doing it really, it's just not my thing. The person I hooked up with though is not someone I enjoy spending time with in any other way then for sex. it's shallow, but it's the truth. It seems he understands that too. I went over to check out his new place so that I could at least appear to seem like I care about that stuff.... he had no furniture other than a futon mattress to sit on and the only movies he had to watch were porn... It seem mutual at least.

But generally speaking.. I don't like hookups. I have such deep personal relationships with my friends that sex has never ment much to me.

i totally understand the "nothing in common other than sexual interest" thing. ive had quite a few relationships that were exactly like that. mainly because i dont have anything in common with most gay men other than livejournal and cock.

what i really like is affectionate relationships that dont demand sex. I have many relationships like that with girls but very few with guys. unforunately my closest guy friend that i would want to have an affectionate relationship with likes me too much and it makes things very wierd.

I totally understand that. I am pretty much the same way, although I am usually the one that when the relationship gets affectionate I get a little weird. Luckily I've gotten better over the years.
