I can't really believe it, but Nic and I just bought a TV.

The one that we originally had was starting to go out and just driving us nuts. It was a good TV though. I got it from my cousin who got it from his parents. That TV was close to 25 years old. It's still going, it just kind of gets fuzzy every now and then.

Anywho, we went shopping for a new one at Wal-Mart Monday night at 10:30PM. Totally spontaneous. We were originally going to get a 26" LCD but then Nic saw this 52" RCA Projection TV and just fell in love. However, the Wal-Mart on Ben White and I-35 didn't have anymore. So Dor and I went to the one on 290/Loop 1 while Nic and Al went to the one on I-35 and Slaughter. Neither had the TV. Then I called the Wal-Mart off of 183 and this asshole answered. I kindly asked if they had that make and model and he immediately said no without checking. I asked him to check just in case and I know the bastard didn't. So it was midnight at this point and we decided to call it quits.

The next morning, Nic and I headed to Fry's to find them completely overpriced. We then headed to Circuit City. We found the same RCA TV as WalMart but it was $11 more. We then found a 42" Plasma flat panel right next to it. It was on sale for $1099.99 since it was the last and it was a display. It was in perfect condition and looked completely awesome. So, with tax and a service plan, we walked out $1400 poorer but with Prince William (as Nic has dubbed him) in the backseat.

Now, Nic is in the process of building a moat around the TV.
