Weekend Update with Jamie Moore

Ha, I like the way that sounds. Anywho:

Friday night: Christmas shopping. Need I necessarily say more. I spent $600 of money I didn't have. I'm not even done yet either. I'm very picky about what I give other people. I try too hard to be clever or sentimental, while staying under budget, and it makes my brain hurt. I'm still waiting on my phone to come in. They sent the wrong one so it had to be sent back and now the waiting game begins again. I've actually done very well for not having a cell phone for an entire month. I'm a little bit sad on the inside about getting another one, but with everyone on super speed, I need it bad. While we shopped, we ate some Middle Eastern food which was absolutely fantasmic and I finally got Nicole some birthday gifts. I also shopped a little bit for my dress for Dor's wedding but came up with nothing. I did see this one blouse that was kimono style and would have been perfect but they were all too majorly big for me. I wish I had the boobs to fill out low cut shirts and blouses.

Saturday night: More shopping. During the day, my sisters and I headed to the mall to continue looking for my dress but it was completely in vain. Plus all of Austin and half of Houston were at the mall and just made me want to hyperventilate. People were actually parking in the grass and on the hillside and they were just as mean as ever. It's fucking Christmas you dumb fucks. God! I hate people. They make me upset. Later on, was the company Christmas party. Everyone showed up except for Ron and Chris but I don't think anyone actually expected them to come. The boss bought some turkey from Bone Daddy's as he normally does. We did the gift exchange (I got a gorgeous scarf and two pairs of gloves from Tanisha) and then Charlie, Tanisha, Linda and I played dominoes while everyone else played pool or air hockey. Nic and I left pretty early (10:30) because I still had to shop for my dress and plus Nic was kind of buzzed off the Crown Royal and the beer that he chugged. I finally found a pretty skirt from Kohl's and I put that on hold to buy it in the morning.

Sunday: So, what can I say about Al and Dor. They are one of the most gorgeous couples ever when you see how in love they are. I cried big time, probably more than anyone there. I'm so happy for them. There was a lot of picture taking, a lot of hugging, and all that other stuff that normally takes place at a wedding. They served papusas, which almost made me fall on the floor in happiness. I will definitely have to put up pictures once I get my hands on some. Yay for them!
