Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great time away from Cam and are all set for the new year.
As we didn't manage to organise an AGM at the end of last term, there will be a CURAS EGM this Sunday the 12th at 6pm upstairs in the Castle (on Castle Street).
If you fancy running for a committee position, please send an e-mail to Ian (ia254 AT cam DOT ac DOT uk) stating which position you'd like to run for and the people nominating and seconding you. Directions to the Castle and the list of positions and responsibilities are at the end of the post.
Also if there's anything you'd like to bring up at the EGM, send it by email to Ian and it'll go on the agenda. We'd love to hear any suggestions for the new year and feedback about last year.

To get to The Castle: From Magdelene Bridge, walk to the crossroads/traffic
lights, go straight over and The Castle is the first pub on the right.

President: The Official Voice of CURAS!
Vice-President: Ensure that everyone's actually doing their job.
Secretary: Take minutes, field e-mails, sort membership and help write pub reviews.
Treasurer: Keeper of the cash and accounts.
Events Officer: Organise events! Brewery trips, pub meets and pub crawls. Also gets to ask people to staff the CAMRA beer festivals.
Liaison Officer: Talk to CAMRA and see if there's any opportunity for joint events. Help the Events Officer if required.
Publicity Officer: Design posters and flyers and organise their printing and distribution.
Webthing: Update the website and create new shiny webthings to go on it.
