As for Misa, I haven't met or heard of anyone by that name before. I assume that she was connected to the Kira case in some way...? It would be best to trust L's word on her, if he knows her himself.

If L suggests that you be careful of something, I think it'd be best to trust him. After all, you wouldn't dupe yourself, would you?
