(no subject)
I dreamt of Leanna last night. And Hiram, though they were separate dreams...
Now that I'm trying to remember the dream, it's slipping away. Something about a play we were in...and a dress. *scratches head* Sigh. It was so vivid, too.
I dreamt that I had gone to Hiram's house to babysit Gabriel, and he was leaving for the airport for some mysterious "business trip", and that he was waiting by the bus-stop to be picked up, and had thrown me the keys to his Porsche before he left....I was snooping through his things and I found a photograph....a photo of his dresser, and in the photo, on top of his dresser were dozen and dozens of photos of me, all framed and propped up along his dresser.
Weird.
Don made it safely home and then out again to Fort Bliss. Ironically named.
He's still sick, but is getting much better.
I'm back on the wagon after my nearly two-month diet hiatus and 20-lb weight gain. 20 pounds!!
Most of it is water, though, because three days into my renewed discipline and I've already lost 8 lbs of it. Whew. I'm sure my daily jaunts to the gym are helping with that. I miss a good diet. When Don was home, there were days I felt physically sick to my stomach of junk food and takeout. I am really enjoying the switch back to green tea, fresh fruit, salad, tuna, and fresh eggs. Yum!
I just have to watch out for my late-night snacky urges. I slipped and had a handful of Harry & David's dark chocolate covered raspberries last night before bed. Ug. SO good, and yet SO evil.
Christmas was great and New Year's was fun. Gabriel had a blast at his birthday party, and I'll send along photos when I upload them.
