Oy!
I'm finally over the flu, I think. Good thing; who gets the flu in the summer?? Ridiculous! It is good to feel better. :)
Fiance's family is going to arrive today for their yearly visit. This means I'm going to be running around like a crazy woman all day, cleaning and cooking and such to prepare. XD But I'd also like to bead a little and maybe get some pictures of my jewelry to put up in my shop today (FINALLY!!). That should be nice.
The only other thing to note is the fact that I somehow ended up searching myself through google to see if I had any artwork or writings up somewhere that I had forgotten about. This happens. I happily rediscovered all five stories I submitted to 365Tomorrows a couple of years ago. I remembered three of them, but had completely forgotten about two. It was a pleasant surprise to find them.

I also learned last weekend that one of my Chinese brush paintings is on display at a gallery in Potsdam. We'd gone back to visit people after a series of very bizarre coincidences. The coincidences continued after we arrived there, and it was a very nice visit. I ran into all sorts of people I had wanted to see. It was good to see my sister, too. She'll be moving across the country in a couple weeks and I don't know if we'll get much more chances to see each other before then. She was not feeling well, though; got the flu, too. Terrible. All in all, though, very nice visit home. Just the thing to dispel that little ache at the back of my heart. ^__^
