Ever since she stopped believing in her unrequited love towards Siwon (her classmate)
Ever since she stopped believing that Kangin is her soulmate
Ever since that faithful day that they bumped into each other.
Sungmin immediately asked her companion, Ryeowook
“Who is he?”
With just one graceful glance towards the guy Ryeowook said “Kyuhyun-sunbaenim”
And since then, Sungmin started believing he is for her to have.
And so the quest towards her love started.
Good thing that Ryeowook’s cousin, Heechul, is Kyuhyun’s classmate.
She gets to know things. Awesome, in her vocabulary.
It’s seems so coincidental that Siwon, her ex-crush/love/”soul mate” is a very close friend of Kyuhyun.
Is this fate?

Sungmin, and her friends, along with Ryeowook were studying for their Botany preliminary examination in Hyukjae’s condominium - which is just a street away from their university.
They have a good of 2 hours and a half to review the things they presumably reviewed the night prior.
They decided to review on the rooftop - where they always study, with or without other students occupying the said venue.
They were laughing at some lame joke Taemin said when Ryeowook - who was walking by Sungmin’s side - nudged Sungmin and whispered as they enter the rooftop
“Prince Charming alert”
And with those words. Sungmin abruptly closed her gagged open mouth, subtly pulled her blouse, and looked where Ryeowook was looking.
Since they were laughing as they enter, the people who were already in the rooftop can’t help but look at their direction. As well as him - Sungmin’s prince charming.
Kyuhyun seemed to be laughing as well when he turned to look at them, because he had this beautiful smile on his face.
Sungmin looked at him, then imperceptibly looked away - masking an “I don’t care and I don’t know you” face.
So Ryeowook and the rest of the girls assumed it’s not the time to tease - not the time to get busted.
Sungmin and the girls fished out their notebooks and reviewers from their bag and started studying.
The rooftop has 2 small gazebos standing side by side.
And Sungmin decided to sit wherein her back’s facing the other gazebo - where Prince Charming is.
Hyukjae sat beside her and obscurely whispered at her “He’s looking at you while you were getting your book” and then she grinned at her then went back to sit across her.
Sungmin can’t help but blush and playfully flipped her hair “Oh well”
Then the girls laughed.
“Taem!” Sungmin called out. Taemin looked up from her book, Sungmin tapped the vacant chair beside her. And Taemin immediately sat beside her.
“What’s he doing?” Sungmin asked as she flipped her book.
It’s actually no use studying, cause Sungmin really did study very hard last night - with Taemin, that’s why she chose to spy with her
Taemin was about to turn around and check when Sungmin gripped on her arm “Don’t be obvious”
Taemin nodded, and check on her book, looked at her watch and turned around and spotted Kyuhyun and turned around to face her friends and sighed “Is Amber going to follow?” She asked.
The other 2 oblivious friends shrugged their shoulders. And then Taemin looked at Sungmin.
“Will Amber follow, Sungmin?” She asked. Sungmin suppress a smile and shrugged.
“I don’t know, I think she’s asleep in her dormitory” Sungmin said then she eyed Taemin with a “So what is he doing” face.
Taemin moved closer to Sungmin and pointed somewhere in the book and whispered to Sungmin.
“He’ s studying, reviewing with a girl”
“Seohyun?” Sungmin whispered.
Taemin nodded "Yeah, is she the girl he’s with when we saw him during the Christmas concert?”
Sungmin pouted then nodded. Then the two sat properly and started reading their reviewers again.
Since Sungmin has a source, she knows everything - every little things that it hurts already.
She found out that in the building where they are now lives a girl named Seohyun, that she heard from somewhere, getting wooed by Kyuhyun - meaning he’s courting her or something.
She also found out that he also has this “someone special” from a different college named Victoria Song - though that rumor’s just a said-said since she haven’t seen them together - or at least she thought, cause she actually don’t know how this Victoria girl looked like.

Sungmin was memorizing the different multiple fruits when a head was laid on his shoulder and a voice interrupted her thoughts.
“Pineapple, multiple or aggregate?” A deep voice, she very-well knew said.
She turned around before pushing the head away and answered “Multiple”
“Scientific name” Sungmin said as she looked up at Donghae.
“Ananas coma-coma” He said as he sat beside her. Then he abruptly looked her notes and said “Ananas comasus!” Then he grinned at her.
Sungmin pushed Donghae’s face away from her “Cheater” She said. And the playful Donghae held her hand and placed it on his face.
“What a pretty hand!” He teased.
Sungmin’s face distorted and pulled her hands from him. “Yuck Hae, and please - “ Sungmin said then her eyes widened.
Oh crap, Hykjae is here, she might misunderstand again. Sungmin thought.
Sungmin slowly turned her head to where Hyukjae sat, and of course Hyukjae’s pouting at her. She did a peace sign and quickly ran to sit beside her friend - pushing Donghae before doing so.
“I swear, it’s nothing, we’re just friends, I swear, you know whom I like, right?” Sungmin assured Hyukjae as she rocked her as she they hugged.
Hyukjae nodded.
Hyukjae likes Donghae- obviously. Donghae knows -and the whole class as well. And the whole class also knows that Donghae - though never admitted whatever it is - always like being beside Sungmin, talking to Sungmin, teasing Sungmin. He would just always say “I like being with Sungmin, that’s all” And she’s the only one buying it.
“Who do you like?” Donghae asked, as he inserted his head between Donghae and Hyukjae - making Hyukjae blush as hell when their cheeks touched, and Ryeowook and Taemin laughed at Hyukjae’s reaction.
“Not for you to know, go to where you belong, who are you with anyway - “ Sungmin said as she turned her head around and stopped at the scene unveiled before her.
There stood Kyuhyun and Siwon, arms on each other’s shoulder and talking.
The most beautiful picture - ever. She thought.
Donghae - who obviously is so oblivious about things - answered her anyway.
“Oh, I’m with Siwon” Donghae started and Hyukjae felt Sungmin stiffened at the mention of the name “and Sooyoung and Jessica”
“Oh” Ryeowook said as she nodded.
Sooyoung and Jessica are their classmates as well. Sooyoung is well very much open about her feelings towards Siwon and Donghae alike, and well Jessica, she’s somewhat like Sooyoung in a way.
But to cut the story short the two liked almost every guy in the world - seriously.
Maybe even Kyuhyun - no one knows.
And Siwon is Donghae’s best friend in the classroom. Best buds.
Kyuhyun looked at them as he listened to Siwon and he smiled.
And Sungmin forgot how to breathe, she started taking deep breath, and Hyukjae had to slowly rub her back.
“Hey man!” Donghae said as he walked towards Kyuhyun and they did some man-clap whatever and they started talking.
Then Sungmin exhaled an air unknowingly she took.
“Crap, I thought, it was me” She whispered and the girls laughed.
She stood up and headed back towards her chair - smiling to Sooyoung and Jessica as she do - before she officially sat down.
Taemin who was still sitting next to her whispered at her.
“Someone’s heart’s at chaos, the past and the present is beyond her radar, who will she pick, will it be A or B?”
And Taemin smirked at her.
Evil you. Sungmin thought as she glared at her friend and decided to just study - for real.

Kyuhyun decided to run for the upcoming student council election. Running as Assistant Treasurer, and well Sungmin’s not happy.
“Oh my, he’ll be known by everyone, he’ll be exposed, what to do?” She whined at Taemin as the two of them headed towards their next class.
“Well, what will YOU do? I mean I wonder why up to now you haven’t confessed to him” Taemin matter of factly said.
Sungmin shrugged.
It’s weird, really, since Sungmin is the confident girl everyone knows, she’s not scared to answer even though she’s 50% or even 90% sure her answer’s not right, she’s the kind of person who’ll never say no to challenges - though she’ll still cry if she didn’t get the best, or be the best.
It’s been her outmost oblivious trait to confess her feelings to anyone she likes.
Must be the reason why they all took few steps away from her - maybe.
“I just don’t think now is the time, especially he’ll be running into a position, I bet he will not take me seriously” She said.
Taemin nodded “Well, yeah I guess you’re right”
As they entered the classroom. Sungmin can’t help but looked at Siwon, who at that time decided to check who just came in the classroom.
He just looked
And so she too. And she laid her gaze to Ryeowook who was summoning her to go to her with her index finger.
“What?” She asked as she sat beside her - Taemin following her on the next seat.
“I have some bad news” Ryeowook said and she pouted.
It made Sungmin pout to.
“Spill, what?” Taemin said.
Ryeowook sighed before answering, she held Sungmin’s hand and said “Remember yesterday, I was studying with Hyukjae at their condominium?” She said.
The two nodded “Well, it was past 10 I think, Hyukjae and I were in the lobby, then suddenly Seohyun was there too, she was on the phone, for about 10 minutes she just waited, then her phone rung again, she answered it, then a minute passed, guess who she was waiting for?” Ryeowook said, keeping her voice low, since Siwon seems to be listening since he sat only a few feet away from them.
“Kyuhyun?” Sungmin whispered.
Ryeowook pouted as she nodded “Sorry Min”
Sungmin wanted to cry, seriously, so the rumors that Kyuhyun and Seohyun are together is true then. Oh crap, she must be having a new crush by tomorrow to ease the pain.
“Though I haven’t confirmed this to my cousin yet, Heechul-oppa and Kyuhyun-sunbaenim are close” Ryeowook said as she squeezed Sungmin’s hand.
“Min, don’t cry, please” Taemin joked.
And Ryeowook witnessed how Siwon abruptly looked at Sungmin with worried eyes.
If only this brat wouldn’t be too coward and confess what he truly feels. Ryeowook thought as he looked at Siwon.
Siwon raised an eyebrow at her and Ryeowook just smiled.

Sungmin was at home studying for their Chemistry test on the next day when Ryeowook called her.
“He-llo? Why are you calling?” Sungmin said as she laughed.
Well, it’s not really everyday Ryeowook would call her, this might be the first actually.
“Well, I have a too much good of a news, I wouldn’t wanna miss your reaction” She said.
Sungmin laughed.
“Okay, so what is it?” She asked as she closed her book and sat back on her chair.
“According to my cousin, Kyuhyun is now single, he’s not courting anyone too, he was just with Seohyun that night because they had to finish a project they partnered-up together, and wait, before you react it was a random pairing. So are you now fine? Can you ace the quiz for Chemistry tomorrow with that information?”
Sungmin screamed out loud after hearing that. Making Ryeowook pull her phone almost a feet away from her ear.
“Okay, now I know you’re happy, are you done screaming?” Ryeowook shouted at her phone, still away from her.
“YES! YES! Thank you!” Sungmin said.
And the call ended.
And Sungmin slept that night, with a big smile and a happy heart.

Sungmin and her classmates were having Psychology when a man knocked on the door and asked
“Can Move Fast campaign, Professor Kwon?” The man asked and all of Sungmin’s friends looked at her.
Move Fast is Kyuhyun’s party list.
She turned to see her professor nodded. “10 mins.”
And so every candidate came in, except for one - Kyuhyun - apparently he can’t join since their class is having their long quiz for a major subject.
And of course Sungmin’s not happy.
“Oh well” Sungmin whispered and she just shrugged.
It must not be their fate.

Kyuhyun won the election, of course, with the looks and the brain, who wouldn’t vote her, not Sungmin - she’ll surely vote.
Surely.

Sungmin, Hyukjae and Taemin were about to go down the stairs to go home when they spotted Kyuhyun walking towards them.
And all three concluded one thing: He was looking at Sungmin.
Though Sungmin looked away from him in an instant.
The three went down the stairs - with Kyuhyun behind them.
So it’s quite hard to talk - because they were talking about him - about Kyuhyun.
So Sungmin still initiated a talk about their Chemistry quiz.
“Good thing, we reviewed the last part, cause most of it came out” She said, her voice meek - not so her.
And Taemin and Hyukjae would have laughed if not for Kyuhyun who was at earshot.
“Yeah, good thing you reviewed us on that, you’re really wonder woman, Sungmin” Taemin said stressing her name.
“Would you wanna eat before you go home?” Sungmin asked naturally - somewhat not getting tensed because of Kyuhyun’s presence just behind her.
Hyukjae pouted at her “Sorry Min, Mom would visit today, she said we’ll grab lunch together, sorry”
Sungmin would have ranted about how Hyukjae’s not eating lunch with them anymore, but Kyuhyun’s presence behind her made her sane.
So she smiled sweetly and nodded “Oh it’s fine, I guess I’ll just be eating at home”
And Taemin and Hyukjae can’t help anymore and so they laughed out loud.
And when Kyuhyun decided to walk past them, she didn’t miss to see that he too laughed.
Hey! Why did he laugh at me? Sungmin pouted.

“Okay, I guess I’ll be passing this then” Sungmin said pouting as she held the forms to be passed to the Student Council President - meaning she needs to go to the Student Council room -where Kyuhyun stays most of the time.
So she went.
When she opened the door. She almost dropped the papers when Kyuhyun looked up from his table.
“Can I help you?” Kibum asked, the treasurer who had a table just beside Kyuhyun’s
Sungmin decided to nod since it became hard to talk - now that her crush is looking at her
She cleared her throat before answering.
“I need to give these to Leeteuk-sunbaenim” She said lifting the papers.
Kibum smiled at her and pointed to the table on the other side of Kyuhyun’s table.
“Just leave it there, and don’t forget to write your name and your room no.” Kibum said then on he went back to his business.
Sungmin did as what she told to - not minding to glance towards Kyuhyun whom she felt is looking at her the whole time.

“So,you mean-“
“YEAH! I’ll confess before anyone else snatches him away from me” Sungmin said.
“But, he doesn’t know you, you might get rejected again” Taemin said.
Sungmin smiled at Taemin “Taem, I’m just confessing, not courting, I’m just going to be honest to him, that’s all”
Ryeowook beamed and patted Sungmin’s head. “That’s my girl, though are you really sure? I can always ask my cousin to let you two know each other first, you know, I’ve always insisted you on that” She said.
Sungmin shook her head “I’m not yet ready for that”
Hyukjae chuckled “But you are ready to confess, you’re weird, Min, but I still love you”
“Good luck, that’s all I can give for support” Taemin said shrugging.
“I’ll be confessing as soon as I see him” Sungmin said nodding.
Right, so that I’ll never back out. First see, first talk. Sungmin thought

Sungmin was walking towards the gate when she spotted Kyuhyun walking with a girl - not Seohyun, not Victoria - someone else.
Sungmin can’t believe it, just as she decided to confess to him, there’s another hindrance in their love story?
Though no one can mess with Sungmin’s love story, because she promised before she walked out from the classroom that as soon as she’ll see Kyuhyun, she’ll confess to him - no matter what odds it may be.
So she sneakily followed them, up until the started walking towards the botanical garden.
Seriously, why here. Sungmin thought as she glared at their back.
The two stopped walking and turned their heads, good thing Sungmin got good reflex she had the time to stand behind a tree.
“Phew, that was close” She whispered.
She peeked and saw them walking again then they stopped again. Kyuhyun and the girl faced each other.
“Omona, are they going to kiss, I’ve got to do something” Sungmin thought
And so Sungmin did what she thought she ought to do.
She walked towards them, held Kyuhyun’ hand - interlocked their fingers. Smiled up at Kyuhyun’s face and faced the girl.
“I’m sorry but I need to talk to my boyfriend, are you done talking to my baby?” Sungmin confidently said as she squeezed his hand.
And Kyuhyun was left stunned.
The girl looked at Kyuhyun as if confirming what Sungmin was saying and Kyuhyun just smiled.
“Kyu! You two are already together? So why do you still need some courting tips from me to court Sungmin, if you two are already together, Aish Kyu!” The girl said as she playfully pushed Kyuhyun.
And it was Sungmin’s turn to be stunned.
“What?” Sungmin asked in disbelief
Kyuhyun chuckled as she let go of her hand and held her by the waist.
“What’s wrong babe? Aren’t you going to talk to me? Cause I’m done talking to my sister” Kyuhyun said then he kissed her on the cheek.
And that’s why Ryeowook wants Sungmin and Kyuhyun to meet - to let Sungmin know how much in love Kyuhyun is to her as well.
