The power of nerd compels you

Three act play (as opposed to two-party preferred system)...

1. I'm writing this on my phone. (android, because I am of the cult of google, not the cult of mac.) mostly this is because I can. I've reached that stage of infatuation with my new toy where every second time I do something on the internet, I think, 'i bet there's an app for this...' (of course there is, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.)

2. Went to see the Social Network last night. Quite excellent. Great writing and marvellous performances that have had the Male and I discussing character motivation for the past 24 hours.

A little disappointed by the music. I'd hoped that 'by trent reznor' meant new music, not that they were going to be using chunks of Ghosts. Not that I don't love Ghosts, but recognition defeats the purpose of background music.

3. I've been introduced to a game called Torchlight, which is like the child of Diablo who wanted to not make all the mistakes its mother did, and also had a fetish for anime steampunk. It's pretty slick and hilarious.

Also, one of the character classes is alchemist, and you get a pet who can turn into a wide array of things. How could I resist? I'm playing an alchemist called Gabe, with a pet (mostly) cat called Victoria.
