Drugs and rock'n'roll

Hit the pharmacy for things to suppress headaches, coughs and joint inflammation (that one's for the Male and his pet ganglion). Hit JB Hi-Fi to pick up the hard-rock fix. Walked in and they were playing the new Tool and I said, I'll have one of those! Also, finally, picked up the new Zombie. I see, flicking through the cover notes, that he has John 5 on guitar, last heard making Marilyn Manson sound credibly rock. It's going to be interesting seeing how this alters his sound, if at all.

Speaking of the Golden Age of Grotesque, saw a small performance of "Cabaret" last night. (Had "it's a dirty word, reich" stuck in my head.) Adored the costumes. Came home with an AMAZING urge to play mrs_c_ricci again, my darling flapper girl.

Current phone playlist:
The Bangles - Hazy Shade of Winter [so appropriate walking Melbourne streets today]
Das Ich - Kain und Abel (girls under glass)
Beborm Beton - Another World [these two once again testing my street-dancing threshold]
Hawksley Workman - Striptease
Drowning Pool - Bodies [causing me to make my metal-face in public]

My conclusion is that earphone music is some sort of joke played on an individual by the populace at large.

Now excuse me, I have a date with the laptop, Wincest and Rob Zombie.
