Stuff I read this week

Dec 02, 2005 08:30

It was a damn good week for it.

Lotrips
idiosyncratic (fadedink) wrote "Sex, Beer and Videogames" for the boysbeingboys challenge, which was supposedly Viggorli, but ended up being full ensemble being boys, really. They're such deliciously delightful dorks (hah! alliteration!). The hidden star of this fic is the beautiful description.

HP
"Eighteen" by scarypants - Robert Pattinson/Katie Leung, sort of. Just a solid chunk of fun characterisation, good development, great writing and a very real, haunted, balanced feeling. Stories like this are what's so great about RPF.

"and almost completely" by passionflows - Cedric/Cho; Cedric falls in love, and it's just enough lovely, and just enough reality. Sparse but scattered with enough context to be beautiful in it.

"Deconstruction" by creativeslumber - a pithy, delicate, smoke-limned, biting, sexy unravelling of Roger Davies, my big Ravenclaw crush. Despite pronoun confusion, an enjoyable wallow in debauchery and bitterness.

PotC
cherusha made a fabulously hilarious Sparrington vid to "What is this feeling?" from Wicked. This is, in addition to a splendidly well-made vid, one of the funniest things I've seen all week. Enjoy it. That's an order.

Star Wars
"The Outer Rim Job" by ima_pseudonym - Obi-Wan/Anakin-ish; RPS in the Star Wars universe; because if we lived on Coruscant, you know what we'd be writing about, right? *G*

Random
It's not even my fandom, but upon seeing this picture, my brain went, "Holy fucking hot, Batman!" and left the building. *whimpers*

So funny it should be illegal, except it's actually wholesome: Store Wars
