Choir announcement and photoshop in general

You may have noticed, I've stopped producing Choir pages.

I haven't given up on it. More accurate to say I have declared the project a success, and moved on. The point was to dabble in another medium, learn what it had to teach me about storytelling, and play with a story idea. I have done that, fleshing out an idea that was thin before I started, and learning some fabulous things about showing, telling and visual storytelling. Producing the ten pages that I did was a fascinating challenge, however when I sat down to try page 11, the repetition and annoyances just overcame the joy.

So the idea has been shelved, for either a day when I can work with an illustrator to bring it to full comic glory, or when I can work it into a prose form. I am going to attempt to do this with the first part, so y'all can get the rest of that snippet of the story, at least, but we'll see how that goes.

In the meantime, I thought maybe I could take my photoshop skills out for a spin. After a couple of hours I decided maybe I should just stick to fic, but I did produce something of an illustration or rough sketch or something of an idea I'm kicking around.

OK, on to plan B for today. What was plan B again?
