...I hadn't realised it, but as well as getting all my fic needs delivered to me on a plate by Delicious, I was getting all the meta too. People would just bookmark that too, and it would turn up in my subscriptions

I opened a Pinboard account, since my planned move to Diigo was foiled by their policy of making bookmarks they deem "inappropriate" private automatically. (All my links tagged "spanking" were made private without my knowledge. Made them public again, they were private within a few hours).
Re:Pinboard, the owner is being quite agreeable to fandom. In fact right now and at his suggestion, there's a public Gdoc going on where fans are writing up their wishes for features, and he's responding.

Pinboard looks to me like the best alternative we have while waiting for the fully fandom-owned service we dream of!
