This isn't the story I originally planned to finish my fest with; it's way darker than the other bit of fluff I have half written. But it's actually more in keeping with how the fest has turned out. Who knew I wanted to explore such dark places? Not me, that's for sure.

You're right, that was pretty damned dark. Good like always, but dark. I've wanted someone to explore the idea that the "never doing that again" ref was about Alice. :) Great job on all of these!

This is dark and sad and yet lovely, really lovely. Sigh.

(Is this part of an ongoing universe (besides the fic it's a sequel to?). If so, I'd be fascinated to read the rest...)
