If I could write any comment fic for you about '14 days of love' then of course I would tend towards real life and social commentary rather than fanfic. So here is...

The Funny Thing About Your Skin.
The reflection of Ramula drying her lithe brown body misted over with the steam from the shower. Karen's arms wrapped around her from behind and her lips planted a gentle kiss on Ramula's neck.
'Look,' said Karen as she moved a forearm next to Ramula's, 'Our arms are nearly the same shade on the grey scale. I'm as black as you. It's just that I'm also more red and white.'
'I'm a dirty green colour,' said Ramula dejectedly as she loosened herself from Karen's embrace.
'My Darling,' said Karen coming closer again, 'Do you know you are beautiful? You are so very beautiful to me, and do you know how silly racial prejudice is?'
Ramula looked into Karen’s eyes. Beneath her dark brown lashes there was a fear and vulnerability which showed a lifetime of being Indian in South Africa.
'It is as silly as me asking you if you still love me when I have a tan.'
