Introducing.... my flist/circle

Let me tell you some of the things I know about my friends-list/circle.

  • The majority are cisgendered, and there are more women than men.

  • At least two identify as trans, and at least one is currently transitioning.

Ohhhh...this made me feel good.

I'd give you a hug if I could reach through the computer screen!

*hugs you virtually anyway*

*hugs back*

My flist is awesome! You all make me feel good too... when you aren't making me question my own privilege, and other useful but uncomfortable things.

Let's see, I'm Anglo-Irish white for as far back as records go, in my thirties (but not for much longer), female, hetero, married, educated, middle class, western, suburban, recovering Catholic, professional, middle height, middle weight... I've never felt so special :-)

And I don't even read fanfic. I'm afraid you're just a regular human being to me :-)

*hug*

Isn't instant communication over many kilometers via the internet just so wonderful?

I was thinking a similar thing (only much less articulately) only recently about my friendslist and LJ in general.
