This was a really interesting exercise; fairestcat made her 5 Things suggestion as a deliberate counterpoint to " Forbidden Fruit," in which I wrote John seducing Rodney.

The first comment on a story always makes me sweat a little; I'm never quite sure if I've pulled it off. Thank you for taking the time to tell me that I have. It means a lot.

This is my favorite part: As she sets the rhythm, rocking back and forth, he captures her face with both hands and pulls her into a long, deep kiss; he kisses her again and again and again, deeper and deeper until, right before he comes, he can almost taste Rodney, almost feel Rodney moving around him, shaking in his arms, coming apart beneath the avatar's virtual skin.

I really enjoyed this story, and particularly John in the VR scenes, and his kiss on the elbow, and the stalling. Oh John, you stubborn fool. ♥ Thank you for this.
