Oh dear god... this is fucking fantastic! Sorry for swearing but I'm in awe of you. It is so intense and joyous to read this story. I almost thought John would be waiting a bit longer in the beginning...:)

There's something about this line that I identified with, because it's exactly what I think of when I read McShep!:

telling John everything he needed to know about just how much Rodney wanted him, and God, this was like winning the fucking jackpot without even buying a ticket!

I really liked this because it was unequal, imperfect, and very, very hot. And I especially liked the addition of a hand to the frottage; there has been a rash of fic where folks are writing 35-40 year old men getting off by just thrusting against one another's (usually fuzzy) hips - sans lube. I can tell ya as a 35-40 year old gay man, that *might* happen with 18 year olds, but older guys take a bit more... deliberation. :) The way you described the sex was both realistic and dead hot.

What a great comment! Thank you so much for letting me know the sex was realistic. I've been trying to capture the flavour of more realistic gay sex recently, but being a woman, I'm never sure how well I've nailed it. It pleases me very much that you think the sex in Windfall works!
