Good lord I need an internship! Right now!
I am about to pull my hair out over this. My graduate program requires us to have an internship over the summer (which by the way I'm not getting credit for) and with the economy being what it is no one is offering internships...paid or UNPAID. They don't even want free labor. This is so frustrating, and I even biting my nails waiting for email replies from places I begged from.
On the bright side, I do have a thesis topic picked out YAY!
Bible Belt: Documenting the American Southern church
Explanation of thesis topic:
1. Evaluating the evolution of architectural styles in Southern American Churches and how they reflect the sociological evolution of Southern culture and its unique make up.
2. This study will be based on a comparison and contrast of the Protestant faith, the dominant religion in the region, through both the Anglican and Baptist denominations which will exhibit both parallel and diverging developmental evolutions.
