I have knee high boots.

Yep, this is the high point of my day. ^_^ I've been wanting nice boots for ~ages~, but finding ones that fit nicely has always been problematic. Well- hurrah, Torrid. These aren't cold-weather, must-hike-for-ages boots, these are dressy, I'm-going-out boots. Knee-high. I am just overall pleased and happy that I have them-

And even better, bought with leftover birthday money and on sale.

... I feel sort of odd going on about a single shopping exploit, since I am not the usual sort of person to do so! My pairs of shoes can be counted on two hands- and that includes work shoes, and shoes for all seasons (ie, sandals that I am not wearing in the middle of winter).

But.

KNEE HIGH BOOTS. *glee*

And with the sale, I had a bit of leftover money, which promptly got spent on throwing knives. >_> Which are soon going up on display on my wall. They are a different sort of design I thought was pretty, and it wasn't until I got them home that I saw the name of the design on the box. Zeus Throwers. Yes, they are shaped like a lightning bolt. ^_^

So. Boots. Knives. Too bad there isn't a BevMo (or Argonaut) around here, and I'd add a bottle of booze with the last of the b-day money.
