So OHAI bout of me being a bit antisocial- in the way where I mostly just want to curl up with a project to work on and a movie to watch. Seeing something on the news about how women who are single, lonely, and thereby depressed have greater heart health risks may have added to it. *wry* As if I already didn't have (minor) factors in that area to

Wellard watched the 'mark' disappear down the foggy London street, chatting amiably with his companion, without a suspicious care or worry in the world. Will, Doc, and Finn all appeared out of the shadows and fog- waiting and ready in case things had gone wrong-
But things hadn't, from the appearance of the billfold in Wellard's hand and the lack of any other sort of commotion. Enough so that the four gathered there simply remained on the relatively empty street, watching the man make his way down the block.
"'rhaps, but doesna do any 'arm that ye dinna seem like a thief." Will gave Wellard a pointed glance, and motioned to his clothes. "All sorts o'respectable."
Wellard rolled his eyes cheerfully. "I'm just taking the advice of a friend of mine, with a proper disguise and all."
Finn snorted, but made no further comment. Doc also rolled his eyes- but more than likely at Wellard.
Wellard simply shrugged, looked at the billfold, then started down the street. "I'll go and return this quickly, then we can-"
"Wait." Baffled, Doc stepped forwards and grabbed Wellard's arm. "What'd'ya mean, 'return it'"?
Will facepalmed. "Bloody 'ell, canna just give it back to 'im."
Finn just looked patiently exasperated- And possibly amused.
Definitly amused.
Wellard dropped his hand down with a mutter. "It's not as if we need it. And there's no reason to steal from a random man walking down the street- it's not as if he's done anything to us. I'll just say he dropped it, and leave before he can ask any questions." He frowned, pulled free from Doc and stalked down the street after the distant figure. "In any case, stealing is supposed to be a sin, in case us bandits, outlaws and pirates have forgotten that little fact."
He was only a few feet away when Finn finally spoke up.
"You weren't saying anything like that when we were, ah. How did you put it? 'Liberating' that gem from the Prussian Museum, Henry." His tone was pure innocence.
Wellard's muttered reply of 'That's different.' was lost under the sound of both Will and Doc snickering.
