Exploring the surface level of a fruit. You get to observe, analyze, and pretend to know what it is like on the inside and how it tastes.
While cutting into it, you discover a new level of life. The aroma is different. It is the deeper level where you get to know how the fruit looks on the inside; ultimately, the fruit will be left vulnerable and exposed to any outside objects.
You take a bite into the vulnerable side of things, but decide that the surface level is safer. For a long time, the surface has sometimes been of utter most importance; however, it is only now that the inside matters the most.
