Brilliant Bank Holiday weekend!
Aaaaahh I've had such a lovely weekend! It's a real shame it's over now, but the saving grace is that it's a short week this week!
I spent Friday evening giving my room a good spring clean. I pulled everything out and had a good hoover and polish around so everything was spick and span. I was totally worn out by the end though, it's hard work! I made a start sorting through the piles of clothes and papers on my floor but got sick and gave up haha!
Saturday I had a lie-in, then my Dad made us brunch as my Mam was at work, and I went horse riding. (I had Cinders this week and Jess had Rosie.) After I had an hour at Jess's house, then ruched home to get showered and changed for my night out with the girls from Uni. We went to Pizza Express, then went to Namco Funscape for bowling, Dancing Stage, arcade games and drinks! We had such a laugh, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
We saw a white screen and couldn't resist taking a few poser photos! Laurie took loads but she hasn't uploaded hers yet. I think she should hurry herself up!!
Sunday was another have-a-lie-in-then-do-some-cleaning day! I popped up to my Grandmas along with my Mam, Anuty and Cousin to help my Gran clean her little flat. I haven't seen them in a while so that was nice. We watched 24, and all got a bit upset when we realised next week is a double episode and THE LAST EVER episodes of 24!! =( My life will be empty without it!
On Monday I managed to get some time with my yummy boyfriend and was delighted! He asked work if he could start around half 3, 4 oclock and so I went round at 11 and we really made the most of our time. We went to Pizza hut for lunch and had the Tuscani Platter (A medley of Mediterranean favourites - slices of prosciutto and salami Milano, feta cheese, chilled tomato bruschetta topping and mixed olives. Served with freshly baked garlic bread fingers and an olive oil and balsamic dip.) between us and then I had the BBQ deluxe on Italian base and Chris had his usual pepperoni feast on pan. It was delicious! After we nipped across to Durham for a bit. We haven't been together in ages and it was so lovely outside it was nice just wandering around. We went for a non-alcoholic drink (I was driving and he was on his way to work) and he took me to his restaurant so I could see where he works. I was gutted when he had to go, but I was luck to have had the time with him, so it was a bit of give and take.
On my way back to the car I bumped into my friends Katie and Paul from church! It was lovely to see them but it was so random haha!
When I got home I changes and spent the rest of the evening relaxing and eating and drinking! We watched Britains got Talent and an episode of the Pacific. I think that's part of the reason for my gorey dream last night =\ I'll post about it later!
