Note to self, don't check out library books. = me having to get up before 11am at some point. Ya, it is only a 5 min walk from my room, but that is 10min of physical activity before 12, not ok in lindsey land. Although i did see the pretty boy with the amazing jacket so it was worth it. I think I hit on him the other night? need to lay off the booze. I believe he is the guy I hit on expecting to get shut down, so I didn't plan on it going any further than that. Unfortunately (or awesomely) I was successful, but then realized I had nothing....so I said cool, see ya around. Headed back to all of my friends, who gave me the encouraging what the fuck is wrong with you, idiot get back in there looks. ya, I have the social skills of a god.
we had another 999 (911) night at the union. My friends were burglars as you can see. I wanted to go as a syringe, but I didn't have the time or the cardboard, shame. The music might have slightly improved or I could just be drinking more? It is probably the later. Anyway, I pulled a very good looking french guy named Vince. So I win. I thought i needed to be a little more international.
In other news, I have my first proper diner date tonight. A boy has never taken me out to diner before, well other than mark but that's different. Oh, this ones name is Harry, nice guy. I'm a little nervous, which is a little strange b/c I.... humm, how do I say this without sounding like a total douche? Think he is a very cool guy on the friend frontier. But I figured I should give it a shot, hey why not?
Ok, since I have been talking about boys this whole entry I might as well go with it and write about 1 more. This one, Ritch. Huge crush! Ya, it is only b/c his dance moves are out of the world (I use to love that show when I was a kid). Plus he is REALLY pretty! Oh and he is studying astronomic engineering, which to me = rocket science? So he can totally make me a spaceship. I'm a goner. The unfortunate thing is that he lives in Kingston, which is kinda far. Bummer. But he should totally love me.
The latest ( a few hours have gone by now): date got moved forward to lunch. Just got back. Little drunk right now, ya it is only 3pm, whatever. I thought it would be a good idea to avoid any awkwardness and just drink a lot of wine. So where in the conversation do you fit in 'uhh, ya your great, but can we just be friends?' Or you can just do what i did and agree to go on another date. Oh, how I fail. Well at least I am going on a what could be a cool date to a jazz club in london. Need to work on my social skills, I get myself into such messes.
