NEVER!
I can honestly say NEVER again will I ever have weave sewn in. I thought I was being real cute and wanted some fun color added to my hair without having to dye it. I went to my friends salon and saw one of her co-workers who does extensions. The girl had orginally told my friend she would fuse them in since all I wanted was some chunks of color here and there.
I know about the different methods of putting in extensions....obviously since I do hair. I sat down and I saw her pull out the curved needle and weave thread. I should've stopped her, but I figured I'd give it a try. This was Friday and now it's Sunday. I just cut them out, I couldn't fucking take it anymore.
Aside from the fact I couldn't brush my scalp, or wash my hair like normal. I couldn't put my hair in a damn ponytail!
Now I have to go to Sally's and get some bond remover since some got on my hair. (the girl tripled up the weave to make it thicker and she bonded the weave to itself and then sewed it in) It looked awesome, but felt like torture.
I don't know how the sistas do it. I give them serious props!
